Q. Do I need to pre book, or can I just walk in when I am in Malta?
A. We pride ourselves on small groups.  Please contact us as early as possible, so that we can schedule everybody in whilst keeping our groups small.  If you don't contact us before you arrive we can't guarantee we will be able to fit in you in, especially in the summer months.  The best way to get in touch is by filling in our form on our contact us page.  We normally answer e-mails within 24 hours, if not quicker.

Q. What currency does Malta use?
A. The national currency of Malta is the Euro.

Q. How many dives a day can I do?
A. Normally we do 2 dives a day.  Occasionally we may do 3 to finish a course if necessary.

Q. What is the water temperature throughout the year?
A. The water temperature can vary between 15ºC and 26ºC.  Please click here for monthly water temperatures.

Q.  How do you decide where to dive each day?
A. We try to go to different dive sites everyday, however, being an island we are reliant on the wind and will only dive where it will be safe to do so.

Q.  Can I do courses in other languages apart from English?
A. We have the course DVD's, manuals and quizzes in most languages.

Q.  Is the diving by shore or by boat?
A. Most of the diving on Malta and Gozo is from shore.  When we go to Comino this is by boat.

Q. Can I download the medical statement and fill it in before I arrive?
A.  Yes, the medical statement for try dives and certified divers can be downloaded here .

Q. What size cylinders do you have, and are they DIN or International/Yoke?
A. We have steel 10, 12 and 15 litre cylinders.  Our Cylinders are DIN, but we have adapters if you have an International or Yoke regulator.

Q. Do you have any special offers?
A. Yes, please look at our special offers page for more information.

Q.  Where are you located in Bugibba?
A.  This map shows the surrounding area

We are one minutes walk from Bugibba Square and close to lots of restaurants, bars and hotels in Bugibba and St Paul's Bay.

We can come and pick you up from your hotel and drop you off everyday which is included in the price of all dives.

Q. What safety precautions do you have in place?
A. All our staff are trained in and can teach Emergency First Response which enables them to teach and perform  CPR, first aid and use an automated external defibrillator.  All vehicles and boats used by Corsair have a comprehensive first aid kit and emergency oxygen on board which staff are fully trained to use.  We also have safety policies in place which all staff adhere to.

Q. Is the air regularly tested?
A. We use a Bauer Compressor.  Bauer guarantees purest breathing air to DIN EN 12021.  The air is regularly tested.

Q. What booking conditions do you have?
A.

Due to being let down by some customers, unfortunately, we have found it necessary to include these Conditions of  Booking.

No refunds will be given if courses or dives are not completed.

If supplements are involved, such as a boat, Gozo trip or night dive the full supplement will be charged.

Medical reasons and other extenuating circumstances will be taken into consideration, but please realise that we have to pay other staff, and sometimes vehicle and boat hire.
