PADI Courses for Junior Divers

All Children under 15 years old will receive a Junior Certification and this will be shown on their certification card.  Children must complete the same course as adults and must reach the same standards.  Once a child reaches 15 they may apply to PADI for an adult card.

10 and 11 year olds can only dive to a maximum of 12 meters, and must dive with a parent or guardian or a PADI professional.

12 to 14 year olds may dive to a maximum of 18 meters if they are an Open Water Diver or 21 meters if they are Advanced Open Water, and dive with an adult.

15 year olds and above are counted as an adult.
