Pre-requisites - PADI Open Water or equivalent Minimum age - 10 years old - see below for minimum ages on specific dives Information on PADI junior divers Adventure Diver is an experience program. It consists of three dives which you can choose. You will need to complete a knowledge review for each dive you do which can be done in your own time before the end of the course. There is very little classroom time involved in this course and there are no exams or quizzes. 10 and 11 year olds can choose from Underwater Naturalist, Underwater Navigator, Fish Identification, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Boat, Underwater Photography*. In addition to these, 12 year olds and above can choose from Deep Diver, Wreck Diver, Multilevel, Search & Recovery, Night, Diver Propulsion Vehicle, Drysuit**. 15 year olds and above may also participate in the Enriched Air Nitrox dive. There will be an additional charge of €12.00 for a night dive (excluding torch), €70.00 for Diver Propulsion Vehicle, €18.50 for a boat dive and €7 for a Nitrox dive. * Must bring own camera ~ **Must bring own Drysuit Duration - One and a half days What does this enable me to do? If you complete the deep dive you will be able to dive to 30m. PADI ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVER Pre-requisites - Open Water Diver or equivalent Minimum age - 12 years old (15 for Nitrox dive) Information on PADI junior divers Advanced Open Water is an experience program, which consists of five dives. Deep Diver and Underwater Navigation dives are compulsory, you can then choose which other three dives you would like to participate in. You will need to complete a knowledge review for all five dives, this can be done in your own time before the end of the course. There is very little classroom time involved in this course and there are no exams or quizzes. Your three optional dives can be chosen from Wreck Diver, Multilevel, Search & Recovery, Night, Diver Propulsion Vehicle, Underwater Naturalist, Underwater Navigator, Fish Identification, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Boat, Underwater Photography*, Drysuit**, Enriched Air Nitrox*** . Pre-requisites - PADI Advanced Open Water or equivalent & completed a sanctioned CPR & First Aid course, such as Emergency First Response Primary & Secondary Care within the last two years. Minimum age - 12 years old Information on PADI junior divers The Rescue course comprises of 10 rescue exercises and 4 open water rescue scenarios. In this course you will learn the psychology of rescue, being prepared for diver emergency, accident management and responding to diver emergencies. 5 Knowledge reviews will need to be completed, and a final exam. Duration - 3 days What does this enable me to do? Be proficient in self rescue, diver rescue and emergency procedures. EMERGENCY FIRST RESPONSE PRIMARY & SECONDARY CARE WITH AUTOMATED EXTERNAL DEFIBRILLATION
The primary care section of the course deals with CPR, barrier use, bleeding, shock and spinal injury management. The secondary care section goes through injury and illness assessment, bandaging and splinting. We also provide training on AUTOMATED EXTERNAL DEFIBRILLATION which helps to start the heart by an electric shock. AED's are now found in a lot of public areas, and are an invaluable piece of equipment during CPR. Both primary and secondary care courses are needed for the Rescue Diver certification. What does this enable me to do? Be better equipped in a medical emergency. Pre-requisites - Rescue Diver or equivalent with 5 PADI Specialties and 50 logged dives Minimum age - 12 years old Information on PADI junior divers Once you have completed your Rescue diver and 5 PADI specialties and have also logged 50 dives you can apply to PADI for your Master Scuba Diver, which is the highest non professional PADI qualification. Please look at the Specialties we can offer. The current application price for the Master Scuba Diver is £23.07 GBP approximately €28.84 (rate subject to change, to be used as a guide only) which is payable direct to PADI. If you do 3 or more specialties with us and are then eligible to apply for your Master Scuba Diver we will pay your application fee! Duration - Varies depending on which specialties you do.
